Sibling Revelry

8 Steps to Successful Adult Sibling Relationships

(We are seeking venues to deliver our message about the importance of sibling relationships. Send us your ideas)

Presentation

A 1 to 2 hour talk on how to improve your relationships with your siblings.

Intention: Love is present between all brothers and sisters everywhere.

Being a sibling is an almost universal experience—over 90% of American adults have siblings.  Our brothers and sisters share so much of our lives and have a major impact on our development as people, yet many of us don't have satisfying relationships with our siblings.

Breaking through the barriers that can get in the way of a loving, supportive sibling relationship is the work of the baby boomers’ generation. In effect, its time has come.  With the sibling relationship moving front and center (in the media and people’s minds), the need for techniques to help strengthen these bonds emerges.

In this short talk, one of the three authors will explain the 8 steps we have devised to improve adult sibling relationships. He or she will also lead the group in techniques that will help those who participate improve their relationship(s) with their sibling(s). There will be a short question and answer session at the conclusion.

“Learn how to increase your enjoyment of life’s most enduring relationship.”

The authors (one of these siblings will be leading your talk):

Jo Ann (Atma) Levitt  M.A., R.N.

 Marjory Levitt, Ph.D.

 Joel Levitt
